Her owner has made the heart-breaking decision to seek our help following a significant deterioration in her health, which has affected her ability to provide the exercise and care Freya needs. With surgery approaching, we are urgently seeking a suitable home for this much-loved girl.
Freya has lived with her owner since she was four months old and has grown up alongside a Labrador. She has been well socialised and regularly attends doggy day-care, mixing with dogs of different sizes and breeds.
Her owner describes her as sweet-natured, eager to please and enthusiastic about learning. She reportedly walks well on the lead, with no aggression towards dogs on or off lead and no food or toy guarding reported.
As a young Dobermann, Freya will need regular exercise, mental stimulation and continued positive training. We are looking for a home that can offer her companionship, consistency and time to settle. A home with a compatible resident dog could be considered, subject to suitable introductions.
